Use Comm64 DLL to quickly add Serial Communications capabilities to your .Net applications. Comm64 is a .Net component which, as the name suggests, is capable of operating in native 64bit mode. But you can also build it into .x86 and ‘AnyCPU’ projects. comm64 communications component Comm64 is the ideal solution if you’re experienced using MSComm32 and don’t want to learn any new syntax or when you’re porting an old VB6 application to .Net It uses the same syntax as Microsoft’s MSComm32 so implementing Comm64 in x86, x64 or AnyCPU .net projects instead of MSComm32 should not take long at all.
